I took an interest in sports journalism as a child, reading the Los Angeles Times and Daily News sports pages every morning with my father before school. My love for sports and writing led me to New York in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from Hofstra University. A few years later, I went back to school and obtained a Master of Arts in Sports Journalism from The University of Southern California.

I've covered a variety of sports on the high school, college and professional level, including an invaluable experience with the Sacramento Kings.
